Bryn Gloch terms and conditions

These terms and conditions are to ensure that everyone's stay is as enjoyable as possible. When placing a booking you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

 These terms and conditions are to ensure that everyone’s stay is as enjoyable as possible.  When placing a booking you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

Bryn Gloch is not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control.  Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”). We recommend that you contact your holiday insurance company in respect of any refund.

Ball Games

 In the interests of Safety, we ask that all ball games, frisbees etc are not to be played near the units and reception areas, but in the designated area in Field 3 as shown on the map given to you on checking in.

Bins/Recycling

 Here at Bryn Gloch we try very hard to maintain high standards.  By keeping your pitch tidy and using the facilities provided for disposal of general rubbish and recycling, the park and the environment will benefit.  Bins are located around the site for this purpose.  Please ensure that all general rubbish and recyclable materials are placed in the correct containers.

Bookings

Bookings for camping pitches and shepherd huts require a £50 deposit and the balance is due 14 days before arrival.

Bookings for Static Caravans a £100 deposit is required and the balance due 4 weeks before arrival. Statics Caravans require a £100 cleaning deposit, which is returned following departure and a check of the accommodation.

If the balance is not paid, we reserve the right to cancel the booking without a refund.

Pitches are allocated prior to your arrival.  If you have any special requirements or requests please be sure to inform us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to meet your requests, please be aware these can’t be guaranteed.

The person making the booking must be over 18 years old and will be responsible for all members of the party.

All monies paid are not transferable or refundable.

The size of your unit must be stipulated at the time of booking to ensure your allocated pitch is of a suitable size, if this is not done or the size of your unit alters, we cannot accept responsibility if your pitch size is incorrect.

The number of units, people, dogs, awnings etc.  must not exceed that stated of your booking confirmation.  The number of people must not exceed the manufactured number of berths of each unit. i.e. 4 berth caravan – no more than 4 people on a pitch.  The maximum number of people per pitch is 6, more than 6 people will require additional pitch(es) to be booked.  WE CAN ONLY ALLOW ONE UNIT (TENT, CARAVAN, MOTORHOME, CAMPERVAN, TRAILER TENT ETC) PER PITCH.

 We reserve the right to decline any booking without explanation.  All facilities and services are subject to availability.  We do occasionally have to undertake routing maintenance – we will do our utmost to keep disruption to a minimum.

Bryn Gloch reserves the right to refuse admission.

Cancellation to your Booking

Deposits and payments are not refundable.

If you wish to cancel you booking, please telephone us immediately and then confirm it in writing.

No refunds will be given if you decide to cut your holiday short due to poor weather conditions etc.

We strongly recommend that you take out an appropriate holiday insurance policy.

Changes to your Booking

 You can make changes to your booking/holiday dates providing we have availability on the revised dates. If we do not have availability and you then wish to cancel, any monies paid will not be refunded.  There is a £10 administration fee each time you amend your booking.

Check-In

Guests must report “On Arrival” to reception to book in and for security reasons.  You may check in from 1p.m. and pitches must be vacated by 11 a.m. or re-booked (subject to availability). . All Holiday Rental accommodation check in from 4pm and vacate on the day of departure by 10am. 

Late Arrivals - We do not allow check in's after the hours stated below.

November - March - 7.30pm

April - October - 9pm

Holiday rental accommodation may check in a little later than 7.30pm November - March. However please discuss with the office first to ensure a member of staff will be available to check you in. 

Children

Children remain your responsibility at all times.  Adults should accompany young children when using the toilet blocks, play park and stream. Children are strictly forbidden from climbing trees.  Please try to respect the park’s plants and animal life and avoid causing any undue damage to them.

Complaints

Whilst we hope you will never have reason to complain, we take complaints very seriously.  If you are unhappy with any aspect of your stay, we ask you speak to a senior member of staff at the time so we can do our upmost to help and ensure your stay is an enjoyable one.  We cannot help if we are not aware there is a problem.

Conduct/Behaviour

We ask that you respect the peaceful nature of the park.  Anyone found to be behaving in a manner that is unacceptable to other guests, using loud, foul or intimidating language or inappropriate behaviour will be asked to leave the park without refund.

Day Visitors

Day visitors are welcome on site but must report to reception on arrival, they may then proceed on foot to the park.  Parking for day visitors is available in the designated parking area.  Parking spaces are limited.

Dogs

 Well behaved dogs are always welcome and we do provide a dog walking area.  Dogs must be kept on a lead and under an adult’s control at all times and any fouling must be cleared up immediately.  Dogs must not be left unattended and any barking must not cause a disturbance to others.

EV Charging

Please be aware that we do not allow EV Charging at your accommodation or pitch due to the risk of fire. Currently we do not have EV Chargers on site, and therefore advise that you plan your journeys accordingly and check for the nearest chargers to the site.

Fires/BBQ’s

We do allow fires in firepits raised off the ground so as not to scorch the grass.  Fire pits can be hired from the shop.  BBQ’s are permitted where they are on a stand and leave no scorch marks on the grass, if using disposable BBQ’s please raise them up off the ground.  The turf or ground must not be dug or interfered with in any way.  Only place BBQ’s that are completely extinguished and cold to the touch in the rubbish bins.

You should ensure your BBQ is kept at a safe distance from your unit and you should be familiar with the current fire safety advice.

Fire extinguishers are provided on the park in areas shown on the map (issued on your arrival)

Flags/Drones

Bryn Gloch does not allow the flying of flags, drones, banners or any other material.

Group Bookings

Group bookings of up to three parties are available at the discretion of the Park.  Each group booking is looked at individually. Should you wish to make a group booking please call us on 01286 650216.  A group booking is defined as a booking, or separate bookings, resulting is a party of 6 or more people who will/will not be arriving together but intend to use Bryn Gloch and its facilities as a combined group.  Group bookings must be agreed in advance and Bryn Gloch reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone not contacting us in the first instance.

Injury/Loss/Theft

Bryn Gloch and their employees shall not be held responsible for any accident, loss, damage or theft to persons, vehicles, caravans, motor-homes, trailer tents or tents, contents or accessories, howsoever caused.

Bryn Gloch does not accept responsibility for any personal items/property left on site.  However, if found we will forward items on to you if the relevant postage is paid.

Noise

Please try to avoid disturbing other people.  The volume level of radio’s televisions and voices must be kept down at all times so that no annoyance is caused to other guests.  Bryn Gloch does not allow drones to be flown anywhere on the park.  The Park owners will ask anyone behaving unacceptably to leave the park and this will be without refund.  After 10p.m. music, joviality, radios and televisions etc must be switched off. 

Pitching

Please pitch as instructed by reception on your arrival, instructions can also be found on your paperwork and at your pitch.

Anyone found to be pitched incorrectly or using an electric hook-up that has not been paid for will be required to pay the appropriate upgrade fee or may be asked to move pitch.

Please respect your neighbours’ peace and privacy and ensure that they are not inconvenienced by your children, pets, noise, or by taking “short cuts” across their pitch.

Hook-ups – Bryn Gloch cannot accept responsibility for any accident or damage arising from use of faulty or inappropriate electrical equipment.

If bringing more that 1 vehicle is must be parked on your pitch.

A breathable groundsheet/mat must be used in your awning if you are occupying a grass pitch.

We ask that any gazebos/awnings etc are pitched as part of the unit’s pitch area.  Do not take up another unit’s space otherwise you will be charged for the pitch, or asked to remove the gazebo/awning etc.

The electricity at Bryn Gloch is 10 amps, enough for around 2kw at any one time and must not be used to charge vehicles.

Smoking

 Smoking/vaping is prohibited in all our buildings and accommodation.

Speed Limit/Vehicles

 A strict speed limit of 5mph exists on the site at all times; drivers must have a valid driving license and current insurance.  All roads should be used in accordance with the highway code.

The movement of traffic between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. is prohibited.

The driving from pitches to the toilet blocks is strictly forbidden.

Electric scooters, segways’ & hover boards etc are strictly prohibited on the Park.

Washing Up/Washing Lines

Dishes are to be washed in the washing up areas and must not be washed in the launderette or shower block hand basins.  Please use the launderette facilities for the washing and drying of clothes.  Washing lines and rotary lines are not allowed.

 

 

Bryn Gloch reserves the right to make any changes to the above terms and conditions without prior notice.
