Snowdon Rangers Path
The Snowdon Ranger is believed to be the earliest of the six main routes to the summit of Yr Wyddfa.
The route starts at the shores of Llyn Cwellyn, giving the path its Welsh name of Llwybr Cwellyn (Cwellyn Path). It climbs gradually to the slopes of Moel Cynghorion and over to Bwlch Cwm Brwynog before ascending steeply above Clogwyn Du’r Arddu and merging with the Llanberis Path to the summit.

Beddgelert is well known for the many exciting mountain trails nearby, especially in the forest! Don't have a bike? No problem, hire a mountain bike or even an electric bike for that extra adrenaline rush!
Gelert's Grave
Once in Beddgelert village, why not visit the stone monument of 'Gelert', the legendary faithful hound of the medieval Welsh Prince Llywelyn the Great. Just simply follow the footpath along the banks of the river Glaslyn.

Dinorwig Slate Quarry
This area is centred on Dinorwig Quarry. It’s an astoundingly beautiful landscape, with Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris at it's heart. Dolbadarn Castle has guarded this valley since the 13th Century.

Mynydd Mawr from Rhyd Ddu
In the shadow of busy Snowdon is the standalone summit of Mynydd Mawr. Escape the crowds and savour the solitude as you walk from Rhyd Ddu up a lovely grassy ridge to the peak, where you’ll be treated to great views of Craig y Bera, Nantlle Ridge, and Moel Hebog. The walk up Mynydd Mawr is quick, steep only in parts, and a perfect mountain escape when you only have the morning or afternoon to get outside.
